Saint Mars Of The Desert - St Botolph's Quadruple Noir
Regular price £5.76
A dark monastic type Quadruple at 9% Classic stuff, its name after St Botolph who was an Anglo Saxon Monk, he travelled Britain talking about this and that, In the process he gave the towns of Boston here in the UK and in the USA their names, SMOD brewed this beer for his Saint's Day, which is June 17th, to honour their homes past and present, and the Monk who named them, this beer is a darker take on a classic Abbey Quadruple, Martha doesn't usually toot the horn of her husband's(Dan) beer formulation abilities...but apparently this one deserves at least a moderate toot, and we definitely agree.
