Schneider Weiss - Tap 7 - Original
Regular price £3.13
The history of wheat beer is also the history of the Schneider brewing family and its famous Schneider Weisse. A brewery of great history and tradition, Schneider can be credited with resurrecting a style of beer that came close to extinction in the late 1800s and has built a reputation of being the most distinguished and exclusive purveyor of wheat beers in Germay Pouring hazy amber, beneath this full-bodied Bavarian wheat beer's fluffy white head you'll find notes of bready yeast, banana and clove along with nutmeg and a touch of fruitiness. Before 1872, breweries in Bavaria were not allowed to produce wheat beer - that is, until Georg Schneider bought the brewing rights from the king. Since then, Schneider Weisse Original has been brewed to the same traditional recipe, making it a true classic!
