Cantillon - Rose De Gambrinus
The process to make this beer is identical to the one to make Kriek, macerating raspberries in 2 year old Lambic to make a fantastic thirst quencher. When young, the Rose de Gambrinus will be full and fruity while later on, the sour lambic taste will become dominant.
Our sommelierâ€™s favourite Cantillon beer, the RosÃ© de Gambrinus is exactly how a raspberry lambic should be. Much less fruit-forward than other fruit lambics, this raspberry lambic is a perfect balance of dry tartness with a lovely raspberry accent. Boldly tart, sour, and â€œfunkyâ€ flavours are complemented by lightly sweet and tart raspberries. Very dry, crisp, and heavily carbonated, once accustomed to this style, the RosÃ© de Gambrinus will be a hard one to put down
